Meeting My Blog World (Part 2)

For some of my friends it just seems a little "strange" to have friends in the blogosphere that you read, talk and listen too several times a week if not daily.   I agree--it just sounds peculiar.  But I have experienced it once and now again--these folks are "real"
I posted near the end of last year that I wanted to meet some of these people in person in 2009.  I did this past week.
As an added bonus this year, I met Jan Owens, Marina Berryman and Audra Krell
What a week!  Great fellowship, Great friends, Great food, Great Music, Great Spirit, Great Word--what else can I say but GREAT!

I'm so glad it was an awesome week! Thanks for sharing - it was sweet to be here praying for you and get to follow along! However, I'm wondering if you just made up that plane story because you have had a few smooth trips lately and you don't want to ruin your reputation???

Nope---I'm consistent in my travel woes--but always on American Airlines. I wonder if that says more about them than it does about me!

Hi Jim,
Wow am I going through withdrawl. You all were the nicest folks I have ever met at a conference. I wish we could all do life together, daily. We'll have to settle for doing life in the blogosphere. It was so great to finally meet people we feel like we've known for a long time.

Hey Jim! I'm glad you had a chance to spend time with like minded bodies!! :) I often pray that you are fed the way you really need to be. You use your gifts from the Lord to make our worship experiences better and show us the vision God has given you, but do you get that from anyone? Oh well ........ just a thought. It seems like your trip may have been one of those times.

It was indeed a week with people who "get" you. that's just sometimes one of the things about artistry--some get it and some don't. i just have to learn to dwell in the fact that my Father gets me and made me who I am to be...can't depend on the world to give me that.

Hope you are well--stay warm!
