Lego Jesus

My good friend, Dan Perkins, posted this over on his blog about a group who constructed Jesus out of Legos.

Having purchased Legos for a congregational "creative element" a couple of weeks ago, I can just imagine how expensive this is. I thought Legos would be a cheap material ( it was when I was a kid), but the 220 piece box was $15 and there weren't many large pieces in the set. I was kind of disappointed.

It's interesting to me how they can sculpt Legos into a portrayal of Christ. Dan made the observation that Jesus said that "in three days he would remake this temple"--I don't think he meant with Legos.

Did you play with Legos?

Found out some info you may find helpful and could post in your blog. My monies were taken by Projector Lamp Center also, wrote a letter to the SageRyder owners and got a letter back from Bankruptcy court people! They've filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and you'll never get monies back unless u file a claim! Also there was some takeover by a 'new ownership' per their chat people. They wouldnt give out the name. Found out it was by a company named Stampede Global in NY. Check em out. Post about it on your blog so no one else gets scammed! I'm going to stampede for my money!

Projector Lamp Center, Big Screen Center and Mount Center are all DBA's of SageRyder Inc. SageRyder filed chapter 7 Bankruptcy on February 25, 2009. Stampede Global evidently foreclosed on the company and forced it into bankruptcy! Now the owners of Stampede Global, Mark Wilkens and Kevin Kelly have started a new sham company in Georgia called Lamps and Screens Online.com. Here is the link to their LLC papers http://corp.sos.state.ga.us/imaging/16097960.pdf
Its obvious they have issues.
