Worship Post-fessional, Sunday, October 5

Back in the saddle again!  I've been away for two weeks so this is my first time to lead since the middle of the month.

Here's the set list for today:
You Are Holy (Prince of Peace)-Imboden
Father, Spirit, Jesus
Welcome
Because We Believe
Message
Revelation Song
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy Is The Lord
You Are God Alone
Awesome God

Most of the songs were programmed on the backside of the message to be a response to the teaching about the character of God.

So how was your Sunday?

This post is part of Sunday Set Lists over on Fred McKinnon's site.

'You are God Alone'.... who wrote that? Is that a Billy Foote song?

I love an extended time of music after the message. We mix it up, but haven't done this lately. Gonna have to change that.

You Are God (not a god) is the official title. I just refer to it by the chorus " You are God alone from before time began"

Good to hear from you--looking forward to February

Glad to be back--but it wasn't for long. I'm in Glorieta New Mexico with our Sr. Adult for Fall Celebration this week. I'll send some pics from here--the trees are changing and it's beautiful. God is such an awesome set designer.

Will have to catch up with you when I get back

What's your link? I'd like to hear what you're saying about worship.

We don't often do this, but it worked. I heard many positives about it and we ended just about the same time that we normally would have.

Thanks for checking in.

Cool to see you utilizing music to respond to the scriptures. We have done this before and it has been received well each time. Almost like people have a "reason" to praise.

Feel free to stop by. I talk about what's ever on my mind at the time, but worship creeps in their as well :)
